This USB-C to serial adapter cable makes it easy to connect legacy RS232 devices to modern computers. The 2-meter cable improves reach and routing behind workstations and service benches. The FTDI FT232R chipset supports baud rates up to 921.6 kbit/s and provides reliable serial communication. LED indicators for Transmit, Receive and USB provide insight into port activity. The pre-installed DB9 screws can be replaced with included nuts for compatibility with various serial devices. With molded TPE housing, copper shielding and gold-plated contacts, the cable offers robust protection against flexing and wear. Level-4 ESD protection (15kV air/8kV contact) helps protect connected devices from static discharge. Compatible with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and Linux with automatic driver installation and COM retention after reboot.
