This StarTech.com USB-C to serial adapter cable provides seamless RS-232 connectivity for modern USB-C computers. The FTDI FT232R chipset supports speeds up to 921.6 Kbit/s and offers advanced serial parameter options: 7-8 data bits, 1-2 stop bits, and support for even/odd/mark/space parity. TX, RX and USB status LEDs provide real-time activity information. The cable features Level-4 ESD protection (15kV air/8kV contact), copper shielding and gold-plated connectors. Pre-installed DB9 nuts can be replaced with included screws. Compatible with Windows 7-11, macOS 10.9-15.0, Linux and Windows Server 2008-2025. Operating temperature range -40°C to 80°C, ideal for industrial environments.
