This StarTech.com SPSMLCLC-OS2-5M fiber optic cable is engineered for high-speed networks supporting up to 100 Gbit/s throughput. The 9/125µm OS2 Single Mode Simplex configuration makes it ideal for space-constrained installations requiring minimal fiber count. UPC-polished LC connectors deliver superior return loss characteristics with ≥55dB return loss and ≤0.3dB insertion loss, meeting ITU-T G652.D/G657.A1 standards. The bend insensitive fiber core with low refractive index cladding minimizes light leakage. The aramid-reinforced LSZH (Low Smoke Zero-Halogen) jacket is safe for enclosed environments, aircraft, and residential applications. Operating range -20 to 60°C. Each cable is individually tested with test report included. Backward compatible with OS1 networks.
