This StarTech.com OS2 Single Mode Simplex Fiber Optic Cable supports data rates up to 100 Gbit/s and is engineered for 40G/100G network applications. The cable features 9/125µm fiber diameter with UPC-polished LC connectors on both ends, delivering insertion loss of only ≤0.3dB and return loss of ≥55dB. The bend-insensitive core material provides a loaded bend radius of 10mm, offering flexibility for complex installations. The Aramid-reinforced LSZH (Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen) jacket makes the cable safe for use in enclosed environments, aircraft, and trains, complying with stringent fire safety standards. The cable supports wavelength range 1260-1625nm and is backward compatible with OS1 networks. Each cable is individually tested and supplied with a test report for guaranteed reliability and performance across CWDM applications.
