Features LC/LC-UPC connectors, Bend Insensitive fiber core, and aramid-reinforced LSZH jacket. Ideal for space-constrained installations requiring minimal fiber count. Insertion loss ≤0.3dB and return loss ≥55dB.

This StarTech.com Simplex OS2 Single Mode fiber optic cable is specifically engineered for high-performance network environments. With 9/125µm fiber diameter and wavelength range support of 1260-1625nm, this cable delivers excellent performance for CWDM applications. UPC-polished LC connectors ensure minimal insertion loss (≤0.3dB) and improved return loss characteristics. The Bend Insensitive fiber core surrounded by low refractive index material reduces light loss and enables tight bends (10mm loaded bend radius). The LSZH jacket (Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen) is flame-retardant and safe for enclosed spaces, vehicles, and residential environments. Each cable is individually tested and includes a test report. Backward compatible with OS1 networks. Operating temperature range -20 to 60°C.
