De StarTech.com SATA PCIe kaart is een high-performance expansiekaart die u in staat stelt zes SATA 6Gbps stations aan te sluiten via een beschikbare PCIe x4 slot. De kaart bevat een ASM1166 controller die NCQ (Native Command Queue) en Port Multiplier ondersteunt, waardoor u tot vijf stations per PM-poort kunt aansluiten. Het ondersteunt PCIe 3.0 en SATA 3.2 specificaties met achterwaartse compatibiliteit met eerdere generaties. De kaart ondersteunt AHCI 1.4 en werkt met ATA en ATAPI voor HDD-, SSD- en optische stationsondersteuning. Het ontwerp zonder ingebouwde RAID verbetert de moederbordcompatibiliteit terwijl het volledige software RAID-ondersteuning biedt.
