The NETGEAR M4250-10G2XF-PoE+ is a managed Layer 2/3 Gigabit Ethernet switch specifically designed for professional Audio/Video over IP installations. With 10 PoE+ ports and 2 SFP+ slots, this 1U rack-mount switch delivers 60 Gbps switching capacity. Equipped with Ultra90 PoE++ technology and rear-facing ports for clean integration into AV racks.
The M4250-10G2XF-PoE+ switch features 10x Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ RJ-45 ports, 2x SFP+ module slots and provides total switching capacity of 60 Gbps with throughput of 44.64 Mpps. The switch supports advanced features including VLAN (up to 4093), QoS, Link Aggregation, Spanning Tree Protocol and IGMP Snooping. With a MAC address table of 16,000 entries and 16 MB packet buffer memory, the switch ensures reliable data transmission. The M4250 comes pre-configured for standard audio and video signals but also offers a dedicated AV web interface for more specific installations. Supported audio profiles include Dante, Q-SYS, AES67 and AVB (license required). Video profiles comprise NVX, SVSI, NDI and Dante. The switch supports full-duplex communication, jumbo frames up to 12,000 bytes and features advanced security capabilities such as ACL, SSH/SSL support, RADIUS authentication and DHCP capabilities.
