The StarTech.com N6PAT10MRDS is a 10-meter CAT6 network cable delivering optimal performance for Gigabit and Power over Ethernet (PoE++) applications. The cable is 36% thinner than standard CAT6 cables thanks to its slim design, enabling superior airflow and heat dissipation in confined spaces. The 4-pair UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) design with 28AWG pure bare copper conductors ensures low resistance and improved conductivity. Snagless RJ45 connectors with 50-micron gold-plated contacts provide precise fitting and minimize wear and signal loss. The flexible LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket emits low smoke and toxic fumes when exposed to extreme heat or fire, enabling safer installations in poorly-ventilated spaces, aircraft and trains. The cable is Fluke Tested for minimal Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and Return Loss (RL), and complies with ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 and IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 PoE++ specifications for reliable transmission up to 1 Gbps with 100W PoE++ support.
