The Slim CAT6 Ethernet cable from StarTech.com is designed for high-density network installations with improved airflow and heat dissipation. The cable features 4-pair unshielded twisted pair (UTP) construction with 28AWG pure copper wire for enhanced conductivity and low resistance. The 50-micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts ensure precise fit and minimize signal loss. The flexible Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket is flame-retardant and emits minimal smoke and toxic fumes when exposed to extreme heat, ideal for poorly ventilated spaces. Snagless boots prevent damage to RJ45 clips during installation. Supports up to 100W PoE++ per IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 specifications, compatible with gigabit switches and PoE devices such as IP cameras. Fluke tested for minimal Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and Return Loss (RL).
