The StarTech.com Slim CAT6 patch cable combines performance with practical benefits for modern network installations. With a diameter of just 3.6mm, this cable offers 36% more flexibility than standard CAT6 cables, ideal for dense network closets and tight spaces. The cable supports full Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbit/s) and is certified for 100W PoE++ per IEEE 802.3bt Type 4, perfect for powering IP cameras, PoE switches and other network devices. Construction features pure 28AWG copper wire in a four-pair unshielded (UTP) configuration with 50-micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts for minimal signal loss. The flexible LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket emits low smoke and toxic fumes during fire, making this cable safe for confined spaces and building code compliant. Snagless boots protect RJ45 clips from damage during routing. Fluke-tested for ANSI/TIA-568 C.2 compliance, ensuring low NEXT and Return Loss performance.
