This StarTech.com CAT8 patch cable is specially designed for high-speed enterprise networks with support up to 40Gbps. The cable features 4-pair S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) construction with 26AWG pure bare copper wire for optimal conductivity and minimal signal loss. Each pair is individually shielded with aluminum-mylar foil and tinned copper braid for excellent EMI protection. The snagless 50-micron gold-plated RJ45 connectors are rated for over 750 insertion cycles and provide a precise fit. The Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket is flexible and withstands -/+90 degree bends, ideal for confined spaces. The cable is individually tested with Fluke DSX2-8000 CableAnalyzer for guaranteed Cat8 performance and supports up to 100W Power over Ethernet (PoE++) for critical devices such as IP cameras and access points.
