The StarTech.com Slim CAT6 Ethernet cable delivers full Category 6 performance in a compact format. With a diameter of just 3.6mm (36% thinner than standard Cat6), this cable promotes better airflow and heat dissipation in crowded network cabinets. The 4-pair UTP construction with 28AWG pure copper wire and gold-plated RJ45 contacts (50 micron) ensures minimal signal loss and wear. The flexible Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket is safe for poorly ventilated spaces and emits minimal smoke and toxic fumes in case of fire. Each cable is individually tested with a Fluke DSX2-8000 CableAnalyzer for ANSI/TIA-568.2-D compliance. Supports 10 Gbps transfer rate, 250MHz frequency and up to 100W PoE++ per IEEE 802.3bt Type 4. Snagless connectors protect RJ45 clips from damage during installation.
