The HP Poly Blackwire 5200 Y Training Cable enables connecting two USB headsets to a single USB port for training and monitoring purposes. Both users hear the conversation, but only one headset (red connector) has the microphone enabled. The microphone on the other headset (supervisor/trainer) is always muted.
The Poly 3.5mm Y-Training cable is specifically designed for Blackwire 5200 series headsets. This cable allows two Blackwire USB headsets (5210 or 5220) to be connected simultaneously to a single USB port for training, monitoring, and quality assurance applications. The cable facilitates bidirectional listening, where both users can follow the complete conversation. The red connector on the Y-split indicates which headset is active for microphone input, while the other microphone automatically remains muted. This design ensures that only one person can speak, making it ideal for training and supervision scenarios. The cable is not compatible with other Blackwire models using different connector types. Simple plug-and-play functionality for easy integration.
