The Axis I8116-E is a powerful outdoor-ready network video intercom with 5 MP resolution. At just 48 mm wide, the unit fits anywhere: on walls, door frames and mullions. It supports advanced analytics based on deep learning, features built-in cybersecurity capabilities and seamlessly integrates with leading VMS systems and IP phone solutions via SIP.
The AXIS I8116-E offers professional video intercom functionality in a compact form factor. With a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels (5 MP) and an extremely wide field of view of 162.3°, it delivers clear images. The device is equipped with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) for optimal performance in scenes with both dark and bright areas. With a minimum illumination of 0.15 lx, it operates even in very poor lighting conditions. IP65 classification and vandal resistance make it suitable for outdoor installation. The network video intercom supports SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) for integration with IP phone solutions and provides APIs (VAPIX and ONVIF) for custom integration. Built-in cybersecurity features, including Axis Edge Vault, protect against unauthorized access. The system supports Axis Object Analytics for detection and classification of people and vehicles using deep learning.
