The StarTech.com IDE2SAT2 is an internal IDE to SATA adapter enabling you to connect SATA drives to older IDE/ATA motherboards. This cost-effective converter supports 2.5", 3.5" and 5.25" SATA drives, as well as optical drives (Blu-ray, DVD, CD-ROM). Includes 2-year warranty and free lifetime technical support.
Technisch overzicht
The IDE2SAT2 adapter features a Marvell 88SA8052 chipset and supports IDE/ATA 33/66/100/133 interfaces. The adapter provides a 40-pin IDE (EIDE/PATA) connector on one end and a SATA connector (7+15 pin) on the other, plus an SP4 (4-pin) power connection. The device supports 48-bit LBA and delivers a maximum data transfer rate of 0.133 Gbit/s. With dimensions of 20 x 75.5 x 23 mm, it fits compactly in your PC case. The adapter is certified to FCC, CE, TAA and REACH standards and is RoHS compliant. Operating temperature: 5-50°C, storage temperature: -25-80°C.
