This PCI Express RS232 serial adapter card is based on the ASIX AX99100 chipset and provides four DB9 serial ports with bi-directional RS232 speeds up to 921.6Kbps per port. The card features a 256-byte FIFO buffer per transmitter and receiver, supports 5-9 data bits, and can provide 12V, 5V, or no voltage on pin 9 (up to 2A total, individually configurable per port). PCIe 1.1 compatible, supports Windows XP and later, and Linux. The card ships with a low profile bracket pre-installed and an optional standard-size bracket for flexible installation in various cases.
