The Microconnect CAB-TEST2 is a versatile network cable tester with LCD display for cable continuity checks. Detects faults in RJ-45, coaxial and telephone cables such as open circuits, short circuits and incorrect connections. Measures cable length with 97% accuracy and locates fault points.

This advanced cable tester supports all commonly used connectors (RJ-45) and offers comprehensive testing capabilities for Cat5E, Cat6E, coaxial and telephone lines. Featuring a large LCD display, 8 passive test jacks (ID1-ID8) and integrated voice feedback, it operates with one person. It accurately measures cable length and identifies the exact location of open circuits and short circuits. The device includes a self-checking function, automatic temperature compensation, battery capacity calibration and time-delay automatic shutdown after 50 hours of inactivity.
