The PLANET MGB-LA20 is an SFP Mini-GBIC transceiver module for gigabit Ethernet over fiber optics. With a range up to 20 kilometers, this module supports single-mode fiber at 1310 nm wavelength. Fully plug-and-play and hot-pluggable, it is ideal for industrial network applications.

Technisch overzicht

The MGB-LA20 transceiver module complies with IEEE 802.3ah and 802.3z Gigabit Ethernet standards. It supports 1000BASE-BX with WDM (wavelength-division multiplexing) technology over single-mode fiber. The module features an LC duplex connector and operates at 1310 nm wavelength with a maximum range of 20 kilometers. With differential PECL inputs and outputs, a single 3.3V power supply, and TTL signal detection indicator, this module provides reliable communication. The hot-pluggable function allows users to install the module without shutting down the host equipment. This makes it ideal for networks requiring continuous availability.
