The StarTech.com OM4RLCLC15M is a laser-optimized multimode fiber cable (LOMMF) engineered for 850nm and 1350nm VCSEL and LED sources. The cable features UPC-polished LC connectors that deliver significantly better return loss characteristics than older PC techniques. With modal bandwidth of ≥2000MHz·km at 850nm and full-duplex communication, this cable is ideal for Storage Area Networks (SANs), data servers, and fiber switches. The robust construction includes ceramic ferrules for precise fiber alignment, aramid yarn for increased tensile strength, and molded strain reliefs that prevent wear from bending. The OFNR (Optical Fiber Nonconductive) flame-retardant jacket minimizes flame propagation between floors. Compatible with OM3 and supports 1/10/40/100 Gbps transmission.
